It is encouraged that you purchase travel insurance for the trip. Most insurance companies require that you buy travel insurance withing 10 days of payment of the initial deposit for the trip, in order to receive "cancel for any reason" benefit. You can use your own insurance company or one of the companies that specialize in travel insurance, like: www.travelsafe.com.
